What is the digital camera self-timer function?
- Nov 09, 2018 -

The self-timer function in digital camera means setting the photo time by yourself. This function is mainly for the user to shoot their own images when using a digital camera alone. Usually, there are two settings can be set, including 2 second delay self-timer 5 second delay self-timer and 10 second delay self-timer.

After setting various parameters, the user presets the position on the photo and then presses the shutter. At this time, the digital camera starts counting down, and the countdown time is set by the user (2 seconds, 5 seconds or 10 seconds). At this time, the user also poses in front of the digital camera. When the countdown is completed, the camera shutter is automatically released and the picture is taken up. This is the whole process of self-timer.
